This course was a passion project for me. My teenage years were spent suffering from monthly agonizing pain and discomfort, much like many other girls. Little did I know this could have been avoided. It wasn't until I turned 30 and decided to have children that I realized I really had no idea as to how my body actually worked. I made it a mission then to learn everything I could on how to optimize my menstrual health. I also realized that if I didn't have this information at 30 years old that there were also lots of other people who didn't either. Menstrual health starts before menarche. There are so many things that we can teach our young girls that will empower and ease this transition. Things that will improve health for life. What we do pre-menarche and through our teenage years absolutely impacts our menstrual health, reproductive health, and even menopause. Menstruation shouldn't be painful or dreadful. They should be periods of time that are honored. Let us join together to empower our female youth. Please feel free to share this course with any and all women in your life. It is written in a tone to relate to teenage girls, however the information is useful for any age. I encourage moms, aunts, grandmothers, friends, to all share the information with their youth.
