Welcome to Prithvi Mata Ayurveda!

My name is Terra Appleton and I am the creator here at Prithvi Mata Ayurveda, an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Ayurvedic Wellness Coach, and Certified Reiki Master Practitioner .

“Prithvi Mata” is Sanskrit for “Mother Earth”. My name in latin translates to “earth”. I am also an earth sign, a taurus. As well as a mother of two. So naming this Ayurvedic company "Prithvi Mata" is very dear to me.

Goal

Our goal here at Prithvi Mata Ayurveda is to integrate the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with modern modalities for a balanced state of wellness using a consciousness-based approach. The best treatment for disease is always prevention and self awareness.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a vedic philosophy originated in India 5,000+ years ago as a natural system of health promotion that uses the science of life to treat the mind, body, and spirit. Treatments include diet, lifestyle, spirituality, detoxification, body treatment, and of course herbs.

Thru an extensive Ayurvedic consultation the first thing we will determine is your body's individual constitution and needs. We will dig deep into your diet, lifestyle, digestion, mental, emotional, and spiritual self. Ayurveda is very individualized and treats the whole person's body, mind, and spirit. We treat the root not the symptom.
